Crumbl Cookies is a rapidly growing dessert brand recognized for its weekly rotating cookie menu, vibrant branding, and strong digital engagement. The company combines indulgent products with a tech-driven customer experience, making it a standout name in modern bakery retail.
The Problem
The Crumbl Cookies website had several usability issues that hindered the customer experience, including confusing navigation, inconsistent interface elements, and friction in completing key tasks like finding store locations or placing online orders.

The Method
I conducted a full usability evaluation using heuristic analysis, user research, and personas to identify and prioritize problem areas, then created targeted wireframes that streamlined navigation, clarified visual hierarchy, and improved the overall user flow for a more intuitive, efficient browsing and ordering experience.

Learnings & Outcomes
Reflecting on this project, I gained valuable insights into user-centered design and iterative testing. Usability testing highlighted key issues, like difficulty locating features and navigating the loyalty program, which led to design refinements for better clarity and ease of use. I also deepened my understanding of Material Design principles, creating a more consistent and accessible interface. Focusing on desktop design enabled a seamless experience for users with complex tasks. After completing the design, I shared my findings with the Crumbl team, who made changes in the next site iteration, addressing the usability issues. This experience reinforced the importance of continuous feedback and the direct impact of design on user experience.
